Brian and I have officially closed on our house and my dad is graciously getting things set up for us.
In the meantime, I thought I’d share a project that I left behind at my old place. Now that I’ve moved out, the time has passed for people to visit my old room. Sad, but that means I can reveal the existence of my secret door and not spoil any surprises.

I’m back in the Maryland and Virginia area for the summer after spending some time in Pensacola. Brian is now here for a bit too while he’s in between phases so we’ve been having a grand old time. Our idea of a good time doesn’t usually involve waging war, but this was an exception because tomorrow is the 200th anniversary of the Battle of St. Leonard Creek, the largest naval battle in Maryland history.

Yesterday we were back at Naval Air Station Pensacola to watch the Blue Angels practice.
As I mentioned before, they’re the Navy’s flight demonstration squadron. The team is based in Pensacola where they practice their show twice a week when they’re not performing in air shows elsewhere.
