I’m looking forward to another year of passing out candy to the kiddos on Thursday. It’s cool living in a neighborhood with lots of adorable kids who trick or treat.
Over the weekend I went to a grown-up Halloween party. It was a lot of fun and my Carmen Sandiego costume was a big hit. I’m still debating whether or not to wear it for trick or treaters. I don’t think kids these days have any idea who Carmen Sandiego is anyway.Their loss, really.

I remember Carmen Sandiego! That was a cool show. You look great in the costume and should wear it Halloween night. So what if they don’t know who you are—you’ll impress them anyway!

You make a great Carmen Sandiego, and I remember her too. You must be getting old, if kids don’t know your childhood idols. I too vote that you wear the costume while handing out candy.

Thanks for reminding me! I didn’t opt for the costume in the end. Too much hassle after a day at work. I’m not sure the kids noticed. They were zooming past my door a little too quickly.

They need to bring back Carmen Sandiego. And Square One television.

Could not agree more. Although I watched an old episode on Youtube for inspiration and I think the magic may be lost on me in adulthood.
